It’s hard
to find 
anything anymore 
for society
and people 
belonging to 
it shield 
they wear
heavy coats 
of suspicion 
and mistrust 
of misery
and manipulation 
they seek 
never find
and their 
failures just 
add layer 
upon layer 
of desperation
