It’s crazy cloudy 
here as though 
this mountain city
has bad cataracts
and just the 
lighted tippy tops 
of buildings loom
like port lights 
of some far
off shore ship
and the mountains 
are out there 
somewhere I trust 
just like you 
come closer I 
think and turn 
this flat bed
into your peaks
and valleys so 
I may explore 
wander discovering you
