Dreams

It is humbling
this realizing that 
I at this 
late age have 
no idea how 
but there’s joy 
too in this 
for isn’t life 
meant to be 
as new as 
the first time 
we ever took
our new toy
trucks to the 
local sandbox and 
dreamed these dreams 
and convinced others 
to play along
