Greed

A little of a
lot is still more
than missing it all 
this thinking that most 
is better than some 
makes me wonder why 
you created yourself to 
be so grand that 
nothing or no one 
no matter how hard 
they try or how 
much they work or 
how much they give 
will ever be enough 
and who’s problem is 
it anyway when the 
potter threw the clay
onto the wheel thinking 
I’ll make it really 
big to hold more
