Morning

It approaches slowly 
like a shy
guy in bar
or lost puppy 
looking for approval 
more than attention 
asking many questions 
testing the waters 
seeing how deep 
then once comfortable 
begins to shine 
and I sit
basking in warmth 
of someone new
