Water

Peace is pervasive 
this peace anyway 
most like water 
odorless colorless malleable 
but never malevolent 
it can quench 
but also boil 
often it quells 
sometimes it questions 
but like water 
it always changes 
and it cleanses 
it can freeze
but always thaws
giving way to 
lakes and streams 
and rivers and 
rains of happiness
