Seconds

I have lived 
a life of 
hand me downs 
seconds and forgottens
overlooked used dented
and slightly blemished 
dinged and damaged 
bruised and mealy 
day olds all
sales are final 
kind of things 
but here’s the 
beauty about used
it’s been somewhere 
and done something 
went through stuff 
and still survived 
there’s something to 
be said about 
about those who 
come in last
