Fringe

Pillow me this 
what’s with fringe 
detail or deterrent 
like what gives 
with the ropes
of frill that 
tickles my nose 
when I’m napping 
hand me scissors 
and I’ll trim
those errant nails 
and snooze languidly 
into my slumber
