World

I now am
a snow globe 
a world self
contained and calm
sometimes shaken up 
into a blizzard 
but soon serenity 
returns and things 
settle back down 
and I sit
on mantle shelf 
or some cranny 
content in peace 
and in place 
until some wide
eyed person comes 
looking for imagination
