Horizon

I have finally 
turned the corner 
after having walked 
aimlessly down one 
dead end street 
woefully after another 
with each step 
emptying my pockets 
of my past
at least reaching 
the streets of 
present and future 
and decided to 
walk that way 
down that street 
to the horizon
