Ms.Orchid

She blossoms just 
once a year 
always around now 
during this season 
she sits quietly 
up on her 
perch in window 
waiting and watching 
time go by 
and by little 
orchid magic hangs
her own yellow 
and red ornament 
as if to 
say happy holidays
