I’d rather blend 
than draw attention 
be a spice 
or an herb
just a hint 
or a taste 
a little lingering 
and maybe less
a waft wish
or passing fancy 
as seen from 
afar rather than 
one of those 
often familiar know
who you are 
more a were
a once was
definitely a twas
