Be patient
remain calm
and remember
to breathe
the world
is ablaze
as expected
do not
feed flames
by flesh
or air
shout not
this evil
shall end
just as
the winter
gives way
to spring

I first started writing this blog as a way to refocus my thinking after a debilitating mental breakdown in 2008. Having been educated in writing, I had hoped that my love for words would have left a trail for me to follow and, well, here we are.
Tipping
When I
was chaotic
I sought
out chaos
now that
I am
peaceful I
only allow
peace here
be what
you want
Sailing
A blip blop
or bloop so
goes the words
of my chagrin
so close and
yet so far
said the horseshoe
to the hand
grenade as both
sat waiting together
tossed so much
for trying said
the teen to
himself when his
invitation was denied
if breeze were
wind then we’d
all be sailing
All
A crystal glass
a tiny bell
these things ring
a pond and
pool these things
reflect a mirror
and kettle these
things do tell
oh but eyes
they do speak
loudest of all
Way
I think
that fate
is what
we need
to go
through in
order to
reach destiny
or get
stuck in
and thereby
never pass
or settle
for and
never go
