JustMeWithMe

For the first time 
in forever for the 
first time in ever 
for the very first 
time at all whatsoever 
I dragged myself out 
of bed and hurried 
outside to see the 
sunrise over the plains 
sitting here alone just 
me my cigar my
jazz and my self 
content in knowing that 
whosoever should witness this 
will either think me 
crazy or lonely or 
even romantic preferring alone 
to being with others 
this Rocky Mountain morning
