I’m only ever as
handsome as someone else 
thinks that I am 
which often is not 
at all and infrequently 
is a few times 
but how many times 
have books been skipped 
because of their covers
before their words were 
ever read or how 
many dishes on a
buffet have been avoided 
because they weren’t attractive 
perhaps we’d all be 
better off blind having 
to decide on whether 
or not we desire
something based upon how 
it feels or tastes
