One more dream 
becomes a reality 
I’ve been ticking 
them off all 
of my life 
but this one 
is one of 
the best ones 
sitting in front 
of a fireplace 
and drinking coffee 
while listening to 
the wafting melodies 
of Chopin Tchaikovsky 
and DeBussy feeling 
the warmth tickle
my feet and 
throat writing poetry 
oh so Fitzgerald 
sans the G&T
