I stumbled across 
a young man 
recently who paints 
his world with 
colors and tubes
and brushes long
strokes and details 
which invite one 
into his world 
so different from 
me that I 
sat staring mesmerized 
how could he 
see that which 
I could not 
that is until 
he showed me 
love and creativity 
I then realized 
show us what’s 
always been there 
but never seen
