Remember those big
yellow taxi cabs 
that lumbered around 
the city streets 
and when off-duty 
their signs atop
told you so 
I am one 
of those having 
after several years 
left the apps
I no longer 
wish to have 
or carry around 
strangers who selfishly 
and without much 
thought simply want 
me to take 
them from one 
place to another 
quickly and cheap
