from the sour
dishrag that our 
society has become 
no longer finding 
the fresh water 
we drink from 
poisoned taps believing 
what we’re told 
rather than trusting 
our own instincts 
and questioning those 
elected to lead 
repeatedly repeating come
drink from here
it’s cold clear 
and so fresh 
that you’ll forget
