Frond

Having been set
to low simmer 
scared of scorching 
the bits of
me to stir
I bubble up 
and carefully dance 
fronds of what 
could be percolate
and now finally 
I have congealed 
into a robust 
deep and dark 
reduction perfectly cured
and capable of 
complimenting any dish
