Now rather than 
wishing I’m wanting 
having finally figured 
out the who
I have found 
that wishing entertains
while wanting determines 
it’s as though 
I now see
what is possible 
like switching on
satellites to scan 
my little universe 
and now uttering 
oh and ah
and I wonder 
if and might 
wanting is one 
step closer to 
having and miles
away from wishing
