Seconds

My life now 
is of seconds
seconds yes of
time for it
has slowed down 
but things that 
I have and 
things I do 
things I eat
and things I 
love are all
but seconds having
already been firsts
to someone else 
funny thing about 
seconds they are 
the only thing 
that once gone 
can’t be gotten 
but then again 
yes they can
