Funny thing love 
sometimes a worm
maybe a snake 
once or twice 
a pair of
fuzzy slippers and 
old pair of
shoes long ago 
broken in tattered
but so comfortable 
me I’m naked 
now and barefoot 
puttering around like 
a child in 
the wood amazed
at the things 
long ago forgotten
