Timing

I dreamt that 
my ex husband 
asked me to 
go look at
homes with him 
no not for 
us only him 
it was then
that I knew 
that like me 
who’d long ago 
let go of 
that our house 
that he too
was also ready 
the most generous 
thing that anyone 
can ever do 
for another is
to bestow the 
gift of time 
though all of 
us accept the 
notion of 24
hours hearts do
tend to take 
their own sweet 
time to heal
