A blizzard in October 
it is unheard of 
and I grew up 
in the north Wisconsin 
to be exact where 
we know our snow 
but here in Denver 
we’re a mile higher 
and I do suppose 
that much closer to 
angels when they molt
causing it to snow 
here whereas lower down 
others will see rain 
thinking that its tears
when we here know
it’s a little piece 
of Heaven this snow 
brief as it is
