ThatSquirrel

A red squirrel 
visits me daily 
I feed him 
chestnuts wishing to 
keep him around 
it’s a squirrel 
after all only 
one of many 
but it’s the 
one and the 
only one that 
comes here comes
closest comes routinely 
and this squirrel 
has now become 
my children and 
my grandchildren that
I never had 
the great fortune 
of watching play
