Life

And as I watch
The eastern horizon lighten 
While sleepily scoop pour
And percolate the coffee 
In this moment of 
Dawn I am reminded 
What life really means 
It’s the little things 
All the little things 
Like sunrise and coffee 
And kissing you awake 
That makes my life 
To me worth living
