Loving Men-Morning

morningWe sat
heads leaned
back against
the headboard;

Heads turned
to the other
eyes lazy
and smiles
easy.

Sheets
tucked
and twisted
a chinese
finger puzzle
three feet
poke from
beneath.

Our hands
twine like yarn,
I lean, a windy
tree, into you;
Velveteen lips
part and tongues
meet
this morning.
