And like dishes

And cups and

Plates we threw

What we were

At each other

Breaking and splintering

Everything to shards

Amidst the heap

We knew then

That the Humpty

Dumpty of us

Lay at feet

Months then passed

We moved on

And now like

A boomerang that

We tossed we

Return better for

The flight than

The crashing landing

Of the dishes

That we were
