I watch seasons
Turn I have
Seen the blossoms
Of spring slowly
Pop into summer
And the late
Fall winds carry
Leaves to winters
Carpet I have
Caught snowflakes
On my tongue
And built snowmen
With their siblings
I’ve witnessed springs
Warmth melt the
Dead of winter
Into slippery slush
And rarely been
Surprised until I
Stumbled across you
A new season
